This code demo assumes SimpleIDE has been updated to the Learn Libraries dated 2021.05.27 or newer.
Open the SimpleIDE terminal to view the output (or click the terminal screen icon on the SimpleIDE menu bar to load the code and view the terrminal).
The demo assumes the GPS TX pin is connected to Propeller IO pin 17. You can change that on line 16 of the code in the gps_demo.c file.
Tip: Check the "Build Status" log window in SimpleIDE when compiling code. The output will typically start with confirmation of the SimpleIDE build and Learn library version. Here you can make sure you have the required Learn library version, or else follow the instructions to update here: https://www.parallax.com/package/propeller-c-learn-folder/
