    This is the the buggiest code I've ever downloaded from the object exchange. - no check to see if the cog actually started - cur_error and pre_error are set to zero but used as a write addresses in lines 38 & 46 - variable pre_error is not initialised - variable I is not initialised - an error is technically cur_pos - set_pos, not set_pos - cur_pos
